Translation Workshop, Tyrone Guthrie Centre, 20–26 September 2010

During the summer, Ireland Literature Exchange advertised a call for applications for participation in translation workshop, to be held in the Tyrone Guthrie Centre in Co. Monaghan in September. 

Applications were invited from translators of prose fiction, nonfiction, essays, and poetry who have published at least two book-length translations or the equivalent. 

Sponsored by the German Translation Fund, Ireland Literature Exchange and Goethe-Institut Dublin, the Workshop was organised by Karen Nölle (Germany) and Shelley Frisch (USA).
